Gluten Free Pork Chops and Apples

Ingredients
  • pork chops
  • 2 apples, cored and sliced into wedges
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • fresh sage, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • fresh rosemary, minced
  • olive oil
  • fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Drizzle olive oil over pork then season with salt, pepper, garlic and herbs.
  2. Heat a cast iron pan over medium high heat. Add a splash of olive oil and cook the pork for few minutes until done depending on thickness. Transfer pork to a plate.
  3. Clean the pan and add another splash of olive oil. Saute onions for 2 minutes then add the apples. Cook until slightly charred then season with salt and pepper. Return the pork and heat through. Garnish with parsley before serving. Yum!
