Gluten-Free Pork Chops and Apples

Ingredients

pork chops
2 apples, cored and sliced into wedges
1 red onion, cut into wedges
fresh sage, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
fresh rosemary, minced
olive oil
fresh parsley, chopped
salt and pepper

Instructions

<ol>
<li>Drizzle olive oil over pork then season with salt, pepper, garlic and herbs.</li>
<li>Heat a cast iron pan over medium high heat. Add a splash of olive oil and cook the pork for few minutes until done depending on thickness. Transfer pork to a plate.</li>
<li>Clean the pan and add another splash of olive oil. Sauté onions for 2 minutes then add the apples. Cook until slightly charred then season with salt and pepper. Return the pork and heat through.</li>
<li>Garnish with parsley before serving. Yum!</li>
