Ingredients
2 New York steaks, cut into thin strips
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon minced ginger
3 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ cup San J Tamari Soy Sauce - gluten free
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 green onions, cut into 1 inch pieces
salt and black pepper
2 tablespoon Clabber Girl Cornstarch - gluten free
olive oil
½ cup water
Instructions
- Season beef with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch and a little bit of salt and black pepper.
- Heat a cast iron pan over medium high heat. Add a splash of olive oil and cook the beef for few minutes then transfer to a plate.
- Add more olive oil to the pan and add the onions. Sauté for few minutes then add the bell peppers and green onions. Cook for few minutes until soft then add the ginger and garlic.
- Return the beef and pour the sauce over and some water. Stir for a couple minutes. Add more water if desired. Ready!
