Ingredients
chicken drumsticks, thighs with skin or chicken breast with skin
iodized salt or regular salt
canola oil
Instructions
- Chill the chicken in the fridge for 1 hour or so.
- Heat enough oil in a deep fryer or deep pan to 300 to 325 degrees F.
- Lightly sprinkle salt on the chicken on all sides.
- Fry in batches for 14 to 18 minutes depending on how many chicken pieces you are cooking at a time until crispy.
- Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. So delicious! No fancy breading needed.
