Gluten-Free Pork Chops and Apples

Ingredients

pork chops
2 apples, cored and sliced into wedges
1 red onion, cut into wedges
fresh sage, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
fresh rosemary, minced
olive oil
fresh parsley, chopped
salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Drizzle olive oil over pork then season with salt, pepper, garlic and herbs.
  2. Heat a cast iron pan over medium high heat. Add a splash of olive oil and cook the pork for few minutes until done depending on thickness. Transfer pork to a plate.
  3. Clean the pan and add another splash of olive oil. Sauté onions for 2 minutes then add the apples. Cook until slightly charred then season with salt and pepper. Return the pork and heat through.
  4. Garnish with parsley before serving. Yum!
