2 (3/4 inch) boneless pork chops

1 small onion, chopped
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup Pacific Foods Vegetable Broth - GF
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons cooking oil or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large cast iron pan over medium, swirl the oil at the bottom of pan and cook the chops on both sides until slightly browned and cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Clean the pan if necessary, then add remaining oil and sauté onions for few minutes until softened. Add the apples, broth and sugar. Cook until apples are soft, and the sauce had thickened.
