Pork and Cabbage Stir-fry with Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

1 small green cabbage, cut into bite pieces

1 bunch green onions, sliced into 1 inch pieces

1 (1 lb.) strip pork belly, cut into thin pieces

3 tablespoons Kikkoman Oyster Sauce - GF

4 tablespoons San-J Soy Sauce - GF

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/2 cup water or more

1 teaspoon sugar

5 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

salt and pepper

Instructions

In a bowl, mix the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, water, cornstarch, ginger and a pinch of black pepper. Set aside.

Boil the pork in a deep pot with salt and pepper for 5 to 10 minutes to remove the smell,  drain.

In a large pan, render the pork until browned and slightly crispy. Remove the oil but 1 tablespoon.

Add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Then add the cabbage and green onions. Stir-fry for 2 minutes before adding the sauce.

Cook for 2 more minutes. Adjust salt and pepper according to your taste. Add a splash of water if you want more sauce. Serve
